What We Do
Six integrated programs.
All six programs are delivered at no cost to participating farms, funded by foundation grants, federal and state programs, and individual donations.
01
H-2A Compliance Assistance
Up to $1,500 per farm per year
The Foundation pays qualified Farm Labor Contractors — chosen by the farmer
from our published vendor list — to handle ETA-9142A petitions, I-129 filings,
job orders, and housing inspections.
Launches: Year 2
02
Worker Pre-Arrival Services
Up to $1,000 per farm per year
The Foundation pays recruitment and consular-prep providers for worker
recruitment, document assistance, visa interview preparation, and bilingual
pre-departure rights education.
Launches: Year 2
03
Worker Health Enrollment
Uncapped — Foundation-delivered
Bilingual ACA Marketplace enrollment events held on participating farms.
Most H-2A workers qualify for $0-premium plans because of household income
thresholds. We help them through the entire process.
Launches: Year 1 (Fall 2026)
04
Worker Safety Plan & Training
Up to $1,500 per farm per year
Written farm safety plans, bilingual OSHA-aligned training delivered on-farm
(heat illness, pesticide safety, equipment, sanitation), and quarterly check-ins
on plan implementation.
Launches: Year 1 pilot (3-5 farms)
05
Healthy Farm Starter Kit
Up to $1,500 per farm per year
Safety and health equipment delivered directly to participating farms —
first aid kits, smoke and CO detectors, fire extinguishers, heat illness
response kits, bilingual emergency posters, eye wash bottles, nitrile gloves,
reflective vests.
★ Year 1 primary focus. 28 farms targeted.
06
Workers Comp Affordability
Free education — no Foundation dollars paid
The Foundation never pays workers' comp premiums or broker fees. We simply
share free, bilingual education that helps farms reduce their own WC costs —
class-code review, payroll documentation, experience-mod basics, and
return-to-work planning — so farmers can negotiate a better premium with
whichever carrier and broker they choose.
Launches: Year 1 (Fall 2026)
